Drive to Cova Figueira and visit Espigão.

Your tour will start by driving toward Cova Figueira Espigão. From there, you will have a complete view of the volcano and its lava flow, which runs all the way down to the sea.
Then it’s back to Mosteiros, where you will find a quaint downtown area wedged between the mountain and the sea, contrasting with the lava stone houses on the somber outskirts.
Finally, we will take a drive back through Salinas and relax at a small black-sand beach before returning to the pier.
Only by travelling around the island can you understand the impact of the 1951 eruption on the island.
